Meals and cooking

Hoeve Chapeau does not have its own lunch or dinner menus. However, a wide variety of excellent cafés and restaurants can be found in the neighbouring towns of Edam, Volendam, Monnickendam and Purmerend. And within a hundred yards’ walk from the farmhouse, café ‘De Zeilhoek’ serves delicious meals from a varied menu.

Groups have free use of Hoeve Chapeau’s generous kitchen, situated in the Tuinkamer, to cook or prepare their own meals, or can bring along their own food or order out. We can also arrange culinary workshops at Hoeve Chapeau.
